What is Sonburst coaching? |
The essence of Sonburst coaching is to understand, develop and ignite the centrifugal role of a Christian businessman in the marketplace.
The objective of coaching is to encourage businessmen to identify and employ the unique talents God has entrusted to each in their profession. Sonburst coaching is designed to assist with a variety of business issues from strategic planning and marketing to employee and leadership development. Individual coaching is experienced in a confidential and professional setting to address problems or challenges facing the Christian businessman in the marketplace. The insight gained from focused discussion allows businessmen to define priorities, design solutions, discover alternatives and formalize disciplines. Sonburst coaching provides a means to extend spiritual development of the businessman from their personal life to their professional workplace.

What is the Sonburst process?
In each coaching session scripture is commonly sought for wisdom, guidance and clarity to the business issue presented. The impact of prayer and insight from the Bible are core elements of coaching sessions.
The Sonburst coaching process consists of three stages:
- Stage I – Foundation sessions focus on the unique characteristics of the businessman. The objective is to recognize the true nature of the individual and the business dynamics creating the need for coaching. This stage of understanding and insight creates an atmosphere of trust and commitment.
- Stage II – Development sessions center on articulating and activating a strategy or direction for workplace fulfillment. The objective is to deconstruct the business problem or issue by reflecting on previous activities and results. This stage creates disciplines to embrace realistic alternatives and solutions to the current situation.
- Stage III - Passion sessions build on the observation and revelation of the disciplines with professional accountability and meaningful instruction. The objective of this stage is to evaluate progress in the workplace and to develop Christian leadership skills which positively impact others.
